Sweeping marble staircases, enormous floor to ceiling windows, stately chandeliers, and a commanding domed rotunda - welcome to the Venetian Room.
Chic with charm, guests at our June date night stepped into the 1920s at the Venetian Room, a premier event facility in downtown Atlanta. Located between the central business district and Georgia State University, the Hurt Building, which houses the Venetian Room, has been a member of the National Register of Historic Places since 1977 and was awarded LEED-EB Platinum in 2009 .
Owned and operated by Safari Hospitality, the Venetian Room opened in 2011 with a modern and romantic style offering the perfect backdrop for weddings, corporate events, and social parties. The Venetian Room boasts incredible historic details such as spacious two level main ballroom with a marble dance floor and a commanding central staircase overlooking two large private rooms. The entrance also showcases an artistic ceiling adorned with sunbursts and a mosaic of gold leaf and rosettes.
This was the perfect venue for our date night - beautiful scenery and decor in the heart of downtown!
