Created to inspire couples who are dating or married, Society 414 has introduced a new era for date night.  We'll help you break the pattern of ''dinner and a movie'' by taking the work out of planning what to do for date night. The entire evening is planned, complete with dinner and entertainment, and all you have to do is show up. Our curated events help you connect with your date through new experiences, as well as meet other couples who share your interests.

Our guests will receive 4 clues in the month leading up to the event. Each clue gives a little more insight on what to expect on your curated date. The last clue, which is revealed 41 hours prior to the event, will tell you the secret location of the date!

Each date night centers around a theme that inspires the activities of the event. Past themes have included a “Fresh” modern fiesta where guests enjoyed tequila tastings, a guacamole making competition, and photo booth, "Glamping", which enticed guests with camp games, s’mores around a fire, and a mac & cheese food truck, a "Retro Cuban" date night featuring salsa dancing lessons, painting cookies, and a cooking lesson, and "Je T’aime", where guests were invited to write a love note and experience fire eating, macaroons, and a champagne bar. Each theme is designed to bring you closer and help you have your best date ever.

Each event consists of four elements:

- Secret Location

- Styled Environment

- Inspired Cuisine

- Exciting Entertainment

Are You Ready for Adventure?

Adventure Dates are a hybrid of our signature 414 date night events. Considered our mini dates, they provide an experience for a specific activity, without the frills of a theme or the mystery. We still do all the planning and all you have to do is show up and enjoy. True to the mission of Society 414, we strive to find unique experiences that will be different from the date night norm. Some examples of what you can expect:

Helicopter Tour

Cooking Class

Distillery Tour

Dewayne and Michelle Gainey are the founders of Society 414. They have been married for 15+ years and know the importance of dating to stay engaged with one another. They felt if they had the desire for unique alternatives to date night, there might be other couples that would also.

Society 414 was founded to get couples out of the dinner and a movie rut.  Michelle and Dewayne enjoy coming up with themes that couples can enjoy and more importantly, are already planned. And even more, they love seeing the connections that are formed between couples at each event.

Dewayne is a Georgia native, born and raised in Macon before settling in Atlanta.  He brings logic and technical-know-how to the 414, and claims his title should be “official taste tester.”  He loves trying new food and will try anything at least once.  When he’s not taste-testing menu items and interjecting logic into plans for the next big event, he’s managing projects of his own.  Dewayne owns his own company that specializes in retrofitting commercial buildings with energy efficient lighting systems.

Michelle is by trade an event designer and planner.  Dreaming up beautiful environments is her forte, and her implementation is impeccable.  She gets it done and does it well.  She thrives on collaborating with the best-of-the-best and is passionate about encouraging connections and relationships.  When she is not busy designing floor plans, beautiful vignettes, and coordinating with our Society Artists to make each event spectacular, she can be found doing the same for her discerning clients through Lemiga Events.
